THE CHIP-SHOP RULES

Know your
chips.

  1. Stake 100–100,000 play CHIPPY on one chip and choose your spice.
  2. Drop the chip through twelve peg rows. Read the net profit or loss on your receipt; the total returned is shown beneath it.
  3. Collect three Chippy badges in paid drops for Friday Frenzy: five free chips with doubled prizes.
Returns, profit and losing the stake

A bucket multiplier describes the total returned, including the stake. Profit is that return minus the amount charged. 0× returns nothing and loses the whole paid stake.

1,000 stake · 1.08×1,080 returned+80 PROFIT
1,000 stake · 0×0 returned−1,000 LOSS

A 1× return is your stake back, with zero profit. A free chip has no charged stake, so any prize is a gain and a zero return costs nothing.

What Steady, Spicy and Extra hot change

Your selected stake costs the same in every mode. Stronger spice gives a higher chance of losing the whole paid stake: Steady 50%, Spicy 65%, Extra hot 80%. Winning prizes grow with the spice.

The board still alternates seven prize buckets and six 0× buckets. The server weights the outcomes for your mode; buckets and paths are not equally likely. All three modes return about 97% over completed earned cycles, including Friday Frenzy. Stronger spice gives fewer wins and larger swings.

Count buckets from 0 at the left edge to 12 at the right. Every odd-numbered bucket returns 0×. A particular outer edge occurs on average once per 4,096 Steady drops, 5,851.43 Spicy drops or 10,240 Extra hot drops. Free-feature multipliers are doubled.

Individual sessions can finish above or below the long-run return.

Earned Friday Frenzy and saved features

Three badges from paid drops start five free chips. The triggering stake and spice are locked; bucket returns are doubled. Free chips never charge a stake, and zero buckets still pay zero. The earned prizes credit your normal demo balance.

Frenzy drops one chip at a time, with a pause to read each result before the next chip starts. Quick paid drops does not speed up the feature. You can pause after the current chip and resume your saved chips later.

An already-saved feature finishes with its original version, prize table, losing chance and rounding. Your partial saved badges stay attached to the same stake and spice: their next earned Frenzy uses its original terms once, then the badge meter starts fresh with current v7 terms. New paid drops and new previews use v7.

Preview credits and receipts

Preview Friday Frenzy demonstrates five free chips using your chosen stake and spice. New preview awards go only to the separate Preview credits counter. They do not increase your normal balance or earned badges.

Preview receipts are labelled separately. Historical preview credits recorded before this separation remain in the old normal balance; earlier receipts are retained. The latest 100 receipts show charged stake, total return and net result.
